What are Group Health Plan Requirements?

- Group Plans are for full-time employees of a business
- Full-Time is defined as working at least 30 hours/week
- A minimum of two employees, owners are included must enroll in the coverage.
- A husband and wife generally cout as one employee, there must at least be one other employee enrolling.
- The plan must be offered to all Full-time employees. Eligible employees may decline the plan with a signed acknowledgement -two employees (owners included) must enroll.
- The employee must pay a minimum of 50% of each employee’s premium. Depenedent are not a requirement.
